Taylor Mac Brown
A quick hello

First, an introduction.

Hi, I'm Taylor. I came to photography through years behind a cinema camera, and I still treat every frame like a painting: patient, natural, waiting for the moment expression and light settle into place. My promise to you is simple, you'll feel comfortable, we'll have fun, and you'll walk away with memories you'll never forget. And a few days later, you'll receive some awesome photos.

What follows is a short, friendly walk through everything I need to plan your session. It takes about three minutes, there's no commitment, and at the end I'll reach out personally to confirm the details.

Step 1 · Select a shoot

What are we shooting?

Step 2 · Select the location

Where should we meet up?

Where we shoot shapes the whole feel of your photos. Explore some of my favorite spots around Knoxville and the Smokies on the map below, or tell me the place you already have in mind.

Step 3 · Pick the date

When works best?

Pick the date you have in mind, plus a backup in case the weather turns or plans shift. These are a preference; I'll confirm the final date and time with you directly.

If the forecast turns on our date, we'll simply move to your backup at no extra cost. Best light is usually the golden hour, about an hour before sunset.

Step 4 · Contact information

How do I reach you?

Step 5 · Before we finalize

Let's grab a coffee first.

I'd love a chance to meet you in person. I like to know the people I photograph as people, not just numbers and letters on an email. Spending a little time together before the shoot helps me know how to work with you, which makes the photos that much better. Tell me your favorite park, brewery, or cafe and we'll get together.
